How long does it take to learn to code?
There’s a common misconception that the path to learning to code is endless. Programming is hard. And like all things worth learning, it will take a lot of time to become really, really good at it. But there is a huge difference between learning enough to become one of the best in the world and learning enough to launch a rewarding career.
It won’t take you 10,000 hours to become good enough at programming to land a job as a developer. In fact, focusing on the number of hours you’re spending will hold you back from getting where you ultimately want to be.
